Google Hotel Ads & ThinkReservations Integration

What Are Google Hotel Ads

When you search for a specific hotel on Google or via Google My Business listing, you’ll see information with room rates and availability within the hotel widget. These are Google Hotel Ads. Online Travel Agencies have historically dominated these ads because most bed and breakfasts and hotels don’t have their booking engines integrated with Google Ads, which is a necessary step if you want your information listed.

How to Set Up Google Hotel Ads

ThinkReservations recently updated its services to allow for Google Ad integration. This means booking direct and displaying rates and availability directly on Google is now a possibility for ThinkReservation clients. It’s relatively simple. You can set your maximum spend and max CPC, just like a typical Google Ad. You can also adjust your bids whenever you want. For a small monthly management fee, we’ll take care of everything for you. TripAdvisor TripConnect

TripConnect Cost-Per-Click

TripConnect has two services, Cost-Per-Click and Instant Booking. Cost-Per-Click is a service that ties paid ads and ad management to your booking engine. ThinkReservations and RezNexus both have this feature. This allows your property to be displayed alongside OTAs in TripAdvisor’s PriceFinder and only charge your business when a customer clicks on the ad and visits your booking engine.

TripConnect Instant Booking

TripConnect Instant Booking allows customers to make bookings directly on TripAdvisor’s website, rather than be taken to the hotel’s booking engine. There are only a few booking engines that TripAdvisor works with for this feature, so make sure to ask your marketing team if this is something that’s available. TripAdvisor takes between 12 and 15 percent commission on bookings made directly from their site with this feature, depending on how often you want your property displayed.
