Here is more information from the South of Broadway Theater Company about the upcoming show:

Some of the hottest male voices on the New York stage are coming to North Charleston. Boeing and the South of Broadway Theatre Company (SOBTC) present the “Broadway Boys” live on stage on February 25 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. The show begins at 8:00 p.m. In addition to selling tickets to the public, SOBTC will donate 500 tickets to underprivileged school children.

The “Broadway Boys” is a collection of the professional male singers currently working on the New York stage. Representing shows such as “Wicked”, “Mary Poppins”, “Mamma Mia”, “Rent”, “Jersey Boys” and “Hairspray”, the “Broadway Boys” introduce audiences by fusing Broadway music and Pop styles. Through their dynamic vocal prowess and redefining arrangements, the Boys add elements of Funk, Gospel, Jazz, and Folk to show tunes and classic Pop songs.

South of Broadway Theatre Company is partnering with Communities in Schools (CIS) to distribute free tickets to 500 disadvantaged students in the tri-county area. CIS is partnering with Charleston Regional Arts Alliance to find transportation for the kids. “There are so many students in our community who have never been exposed to a professional, live musical performance,” said Mary Gould, founder of SOBTC. “By giving underprivileged boys and girls the opportunity to attend ‘Broadway Boys’, we are exposing them to the fine arts and introducing them to the sounds of Broadway.

The evening also includes performances from local talent. Up to four winners of SOBTC’s Star Quest competition will perform live onstage as the opening act for “Broadway Boys”. Tickets to “Broadway Boys” can be purchased at The Performing Arts Center Advance Ticket Office or at Ticketmaster Outlets including select Publix Stores. Tickets can also be charged by phone by calling (800) 745-3000 or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com. The cost is $25 & $35, plus applicable fees, for grand tier and orchestra seats respectively. For more information on the performance, contact South of Broadway Theatre Company at (843) 745-0317.
